Fanny Howe, author of Night Philosophy and a reader from the first Blacksmith House reading in 1973, will be joined by translator, performance artist, writer, and educator Haleh Liza Gafori, whose latest translation work is Water, a volume of poetry by the Persian mystic Rumi.
Founded in 1973, the award-winning Blacksmith House Poetry Series brings established and emerging writers of poetry and fiction to Harvard Square.
