Haleh Liza Gafori returns to Reads & Company, an indie bookstore in Phoenixville, PA, for a reading and celebration of the publication of Water, her latest translation of Rumi’s classic poetry. Reads & Company hosted Gafori years ago for the release of Gold, her first published translations of Rumi’s poetry.
In Water, as in Gold, Gafori renders indisputable masterworks of world literature with fluid grace and moving immediacy, drawing on the deep well of Rumi’s work to bring out the worldly wit and wisdom that accompany his otherworldly summons.
