Eric Chevillard is one of the most inventive authors writing in French today. Born in La Roche-sur-Yon in western France, his experimental novels include On the Ceiling, The Crab Nebula, and Demolishing Nisard, all translated by Jordan Stump; Palafox (Archipelago), translated by Wyatt Mason; and Prehistoric Times (Archipelago), translated by Alyson Waters.
